Q: Hi GABOTAF! Magandang Umaga! No relationship between employee – employeer. Under Contract of Service po sila just for three (1) months. Tanong ko po. Q: Gud pm GABOTAF. Ask ko if merun dito n ngclaim ng 450.00 (as per EO 77) within 50 kms radius from OS and dinisallow ng COA kasi they interpreted this statement “Meals in an amount not exceeding 30% of The authorized meal component of the DTE” na 30% of 30%? Section 5c of Executive Order No. 77 provides that the allowable daily travel expenses (DTE) for travel beyond the 50-kilometer radius from the permanent official station shall be as follows: 100% DTE for the day of arrival at point of destination (regardless of time) and succeeding day/s thereof on official business. 50% DTE for the day of departure for permanent official station (regardless of time) if other than date of arrival. Below is the screenshot of the said provision. Point of discussion: Considering the above provision, how much DTE can be claimed for a one-day official travel beyond 50-kilometer radius...
Q: Good pm please hide my identity. I-verify ko lang po. Tama po na hindi makakuha ng per diem kung within 50km ang venue. Pero tama po bang by air sukatin ang distance kahit by land naman ang means of transpo? Kasi wala naman po ako nabasa sa guidelines na by air ang pagsukat ng distance. Salamat po.
