If your PRC ID is not renewed hindi tatanggapin ng banks yan pag I present mo..yung tinatanggap nila ay valid Id.. The ID is for identification purposes.. Practice of Profession is another story..it is not a right but a privilege granted by the state upon compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.. your signature goes with it responsibility and accountability especially if required before a document that only a CPA in good standing will subscribed.
Additional na tanong…would your signature, as a CPA, still be valid during the time that your license is expired?
As CPA, even in government, you are also practicing your profession. You we’re hired bec you were qualified. Being qualified, it means your license is active. With expired license, you can still do the job but given the law, you are not authorized. This is where HR of each gov’t agencies should monitor. Just like operating business, if your Permit to operate/Mayors permit is expired, it doen’t mean you can’t sell or what only you not authorized, that is why you can be sanctioned. Just my take on the matter.
Check CSC ruling on filing for a renewal. And 15 CPD units required
Nothing but if you aim for promotion you should renew because it’s required
nothing…
