Usually, we base it in the Regional Board Wage Schedule of Daily Minimum Board Rate

JC No. 1 s. 2017 po, provisions of which may also be interpreted na applicable din po sa kanila ang SSL tranches, although SOME agency heads decide on their own on what to give to JO or COS employees na very wrong na practice 😅😅😅

Per CSC COA DBM Joint Circulars, the salaries of job orders and cos must be inline with comparable positions. Hence, if the increase is due to the ssl tranches, the same is usually allowed as the legal basis.

No legal basis since JO has no employer-employee relationship. It usually takes place once the two parties agreed on whatever amount of compensation stipulated in the contract.
