According to joint circular no.1 of CSC-COA-DBM s. 2017, “Starting Jan. 1, 2019 COS and JO workers shall be paid a salary or wage equivalent to the daily salary or wage of comparable positions in the government” Meaning po ba if JO ka as accountant equivalent to Accountant I dapat nasa 1000+ daily rate? They have to register to BIR and pay 500 annual registration as Job Order and then they will be exempt in expanded withholding tax (2%), if they did not register to BIR WT is 5% (2+3), if registered WT 3% GMP only.
