Is it true that it’s difficult to apply for an accountant job in the government even if you have enough qualifications?
Q: Hi. 9 years po akong nagwork sa BPO (accounting practice) and with MBA units. Gusto ko po magwork na sa government for good. Meron akong CSC prof level eligibility at RA 1080 eligibility. Parang ang hirap makapasok. Anong level po ba ang pwede kong applayan? Nag-apply ako ng Accountant 3, internal applicant ang nakuha. Nag-apply ako ng Accountant 2, overqualified daw. One of our colleagues shared to us a Treasury Order that states, all accountants of national government agencies (NGAs), local government units (LGUs), government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), and Self-Governing Boards and Commissions who are withholding agents are required to post bonds as mandated by law. Renewal of CPA License
Q: Hi! I have a question regarding cpd units for cpa. Nagrenew ako ng license before amendments ng cpd law so i signed an undertaking na to follow ung 120 cpd units for my new renewal then the cpd law was amended, now on my next renewal, do i need to complete the 120 plus the new cpd of 15 units for a total of 135 units? Itatanong ko lang po if pwede po bang maging member ng BAC Secretariat for Procurement of Infrastructure Projects, Consulting Services and Goods and Services ang accounting staff na nagpaprocess ng vouchers for procurement? May inissue po kasing Special Order ang agency namin na nagdidesignate ng accounting staff as members of BAC Secretariat?
