Are the employees of local government units (LGUs) entitled to performance based bonus for CY 2023?
Answer
According to IATF AO 25 Memorandum Circular No. 2023-01, local government units (LGUs) may also grant performance based bonus for their employees subject to the guidelines to be issued by the IATF AO 25 and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) (i.e., Guidelines on the Grant of PBB for LGUs).
