Q: Hello po. Query ko lang po regarding item 7.5 ng LBC 103. RATA ng mga Sanggunian members.
Is it right for me to pro-rate yung RATA nila for the whole month dun sa number of attendance nila during sessions, since the SB is required to hold 1 regular session every week?
How about din po pag absent sila sa scheduled na sila ang officer of the day?
I really need advices po since wala po akong mapagtanungan. Baguhan pa po ako sa government.

I have a DBM legal opinion on that matter. I requested for some clarifications on the LBC, they opined that members of the local Sanggunian are required to have atleast 4 sessions in a month, entitlement to RATA depends on the attendance in sessions not on their schedule as officer of the day. I can furnish you a copy of the legal opinion if you want.

Yes, their rata will be pro-rated based on their actual attendance in regular sessions. They are required to conduct at least 4 regular sessions in a month.
