The uniform and clothing allowance of P6,000.00/year [₱7,000.00/year starting 2024] is granted to qualified government employees to defray expenses for their uniforms or distinctive clothing which are the required appropriate attire in the regular performance of their work. When is an official receipt required in liquidating clothing allowance?
Sender: Good day! Our agency is a GOCC and the authorities are telling us to “Liquidate” our Uniform and Clothing Allowance. We are mandated to send receipts equivalent to 6k for the approval of our benefit. Official receipt po issued by BIR, galing sa pinagbilhan ng uniform.
