Are government agencies allowed to procure second-hand motor vehicle/equipment?
The government procurement law (RA 9184) and its implementing rules and regulations (IRR) do not prohibit government agencies to procure second-hand or used motor vehicles and/or equipment, provided, the same is not procured through an auction and that procurement processes as prescribed under the law are strictly followed. Why procuring in an auction is prohibited? RA 9184 | Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) | Variation Order | Program of Works
Q: Ask ko po sana sa ganitong scenario sa bidding: Original contract price: 5M Revised contract price after variation: 5.5M ABC: 5.3M POW & PR amount: 5.8M Yung question ko po still Allowed pa rin po ba to na ung revised contract price na 5.5M nag exceed na sa ABC (5.3M) pero pasok pa sia sa budget based on PR & POW na (5.8M)??? Can a government agency apply for a credit card under its name and use it to purchase goods/services?
Q: 1) Are we allowed to use credit card on office purchases less than 50k e.g. tv, aircon etc. 2) is there such thing as corporate credit card? Kuha ka ng credit card under the name of agency.
