Question: Hello po! Ask ko lang po kung may specific rules po sa jumping ng Salary Grade?
Nag-apply po kasi ako sa isang supervisory position na SG 20..parehas po kaming insider at qualified nung kasama ko nag apply..ako po ay SG 16 at siya at SG 13..Siya po acting for that position before at ako po ay nasa ibang division.

Hi Good afternoon po, Im presently employed in one of our national government agencies here in Reg 7, holding a Salary Grade of eight (8) since, im not an eligible during my employment…Recently I passed the Licensure Board Exam last year and it so happened that we have vacant position this year holding a Salary Grade of 15 on the second level ..Can I not apply for that position? hence , my direct supervisor said that its not possible due to “quantum leap” policy…even though im very much qualified of that position? Is there no exception to the rule? How about the role of the end user? Is there any discretionary power of the appointing authority? Humbly asking your professional advice or opinion on this matter Sir/Madam….Thank you very much.. Hoping for your kind consideration on this matter
