CSC’s Policy on Attending Online Seminars/Webinars

Question: Hello, GABOTAF People!

I’m just curious if there is a CSC ruling which allows employees to not go to the office if they have an office order to attend online training.

I was ordered to attend a two-day online training through Zoom. They still require us to report to the office despite the training. This means we need to work in the office and participate in the training at the same time.

I can’t grasp the sense of attending an online training if you cannot give your full attention to the speaker.
