May I ask a question here regarding Official Receipts and Sales Invoices? I have a retail company and the printed receipts I have from BIR are Sales Invoices with my TIN and other details of the business. I have a customer who purchased an item from us wherein we provided a Sales Invoice yet he is very insistent that we must provide an Official Receipt. I have no such documentation from BIR. Am I misinformed or missing anything? Aren’t sales invoices for the purchase of goods? The sale occurred via lazada by the way if that matters.
