Question: Ano po ba ang dapat mauna? Acceptance or Inspection? If may naging problema sa equipment delivered and already used for years vs items specified in the PO, sino ang dapat sumagot? Acceptor or inspector? Need ko po opinion niyo. Salamat po.

Edit: I am grateful for the insight that you have shared. I just wanted to know your opinion on who is more accountable in the event that auditors discovered that the items delivered (high value equipment) by the supplier, were not the same, did not conform, or fell below as to the specifications indicated on the PO.

Acceptor or inspector po? Salamat

  1. Inspection is what you see while acceptance is what should be. Acceptance always follows inspection. On my understanding, there are 2 types of acceptance, 1. Acceptance upon delivery 2. Acceptance after warranty period.
Acceptance upon delivery will tell us that the items delivered are in conformity with the contract. Acceptance after warranty period means the product is free from hidden defects after the specified warranty period.

  2. Ang supplier kapag within the warranty period pa, wala naman accountability sa mga naginspect o nag accept for as long as the proper procedures were accomplished
