GPPB recommends delisting of airline tickets from the common-use supplies (CSE) and equipment of the Procurement Service (PS)

Government agencies are no longer required to buy airline tickets from the Procurement Service (PS).

Under GPPB Resolution No. 21-2019, the GPPB-TSO resolved to delist airline tickets under the Government Fares Agreement from the list of Common-Use Supplies and Equipment (CSE) of the PS so that procuring entitles are no longer mandated to purchase their airline ticket requirements from the GFA.

Henceforth, the GPPB-TSO is directed to conduct a study on the modality where airline tickets may be best procured in terms of economy and efficiency.

Meantime, government agencies shall procure airline tickets directly from service providers, subject to the applicable provisions of RA 9184 and its implementing rules and regulations.
