Withholding of Tax on Reimbursements: Is it required?

Sender: Hello, we’re currently under audit ni BIR kahit government agency kami, question lang, need ba talaga naming magwithhold sa mga reimbursements?

Example yung Representation Expenses na inaabonohan ng head of the agency for the whole month tapos irereimburse ng minsanan. And may limit po ba sa pwedeng ipareimburse?

  1. A government tax its own… Dba pedeng yung procurement under RA9184 lng yung may tax… pinahirapan pa yung sarili…

  2. Nope. Para saken the agency should reimburse the whole amount. Kasi kaya nga siya nagrereimburse kasi inako ni agent for the meantime yung obligation to disburse, in behalf of the agency which is suppose to be the obligation of the agency.
