What tax rate should be used for the salaries of Contractual Employees (Contract of Service)?

Q: Good evening po! Ask ko lang po kung ilang percent po ba talaga ang kailangang iwithhold sa salary ng contractual employees? Thanks!

  1. In our case on an LGU, salaries of contract of service employees are only required a 5% withholding tax, however, certain documents must be filed at the nearest BIR. You can ask personnel from BIR regarding this.
