question po: If you enjoy RATA, tama ba na hindi na sya allowed to claim ng taxi fare or other means of transpo (except for plane or boat) even on travel?

Sa amin po, if the travel is within 50km radius, hindi na magcclaim ng travel exp. if receiving rata
Transpo Allowance covers transpo of the official within his/her official station/jurisdiction.. allowed po mgclaim ng travel expenses even if receiving RATA if travel is outside official station/jurisdiction, subject to TEV guidelines .
Sa tingin ko po, pwede po nya iclaim both. For traveling expenses, ang covered po ng incidental is yung tricycles/jeep. Pwede dn s taxi, pero if the fare is higher than incidental expenses ang taxi, mas dbale mgactual expenses kna lang kesa per diem.
Magkaiba po ang traveling expenses sa rata. So both can be availed of by the officer.
Yang rata na yan nagpapasakit sa ulo ko hahah
Pwede sya mag claim ng taxi fare. Kung yan mismo ang tanung mo
RATA is representation and travel allowance. TA is only for travel to/from ofis and residence.. Hindi na sila dapat pang gumagamit ng sasakyan ng ofis para pumunta sa ofis o umuwi sa bahay or even magpasundo at magpahatid sa bahay. Iba naman po ang regular travel allowance. Wala ng mag-travel nyan pag charge sa kanilang RATA which is very minimal lang naman. (at least this is done in our ofis). Contrary to Mam Coralyn’s comments, in our ofis, taxi fare during official travel is allowed as long as you have receipt. e.g. if you go to Davao (destination), taxi is the common transpo from the erport. Within davao, we can also avail of taxi from our hotel/hostel/dorm to the venue of our activity.
Yung fare nya within destination is already covered by the incidental expenses amounting to P160.00.
Taxi fare to and from temporary residence is allowed. Taxi fare during stay at destination is not. Whether or not the officer has rata.
