PAGBA | Pwede ba mag-claim ng overtime pay kapag ang official travel day para sa seminar ay holiday?

Hello gabby. Just wondering. May 1 is labor day (holiday) and it’s also the first day of PAGBA national convention. If I will attend the said seminar with official travel authority, can I collect an overtime pay aside from regular per diem?

  1. Hello po. Is this still active? I have concern po kasi, may indoor training yung company namin from 8am to 5pm and at the same time mostly sa employees namin na nasa field eh rest day nila. Can they be paid overtime for attending the said seminar?? We are a private company po.

  2. Official travel, even if it falls on a holiday, Saturday, and Sunday, is not considered overtime, according to CSC and DBM.

  3. I invite u to read joint circular 02.s.2015, (csc~dbm). You can read there that those who are on travel status are not authorized to render overtime services with pay.

  4. Per CSC-DBM Joint Circular 1, s. 2015 dated November 25, 2015
“Policies and Guidelines on Overtime Services and Overtime Pay for Government Employees”

7.0 Government Officials and Employees who are not Authorized to render overtime services with pay or compensation

7.1 Those who are on travel status

    skl po 🙂
