Q: Question, my mom is about to retire as Teacher and she has a 100 plus vacation service credit, is it possible to monetize the said service credits as her terminal leave benefits? She was previously advised to just use the remaining leave credits because the deped does not monetize leave credits of teachers. Any advice po from colleages in the deped? TIA

As per guidelines, there is limit on the number of days to be monetized especially when the agency has no PS savings. You can still claim your earned leave credits thru terminal benefits. You can request thru your agency from DBM for the payment of your earned terminal leave benefits.
