Hello gabotaf. I just wanna ask. A friend of mine plans to have a tattoo in his arm and plans to apply sa govt later next year. Would that be factor para possibly hindi siya ma hire just because of his tattoo?

In 2014, the DILG issued a Memorandum prescribing the “no-tattoo” policy for new PNP recruits. The DILG said in PNP Memorandum Circular No. 2014-010 that “the Recruitment Officer shall initially conduct a visual physical inspection for presence of tattoos and noticeable deformities of the applicant”.
The police officer you are referring to may already be in the ranks before this Memorandum?

nope. i knew someone from the PNP na may tattoo and he is of rank/official pa nga…it’s a small tattoo sa arm and symbol daw yun ng fraternity nya.
Wala nmn akong nabasang bawal. Tsaka saamin meron nmn tatoo yung ibang employees
