About the BSP
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is the central bank of the Philippines. The BSP was established in 1993 which took over the Central Bank of the Philippines established in 1949.
The BSP is the Philippine’s central monetary authority. It enjoys fiscal and administrative authority from the national government to perform its mandated responsibilities under the law.
General Functions of the BSP
- Promote a low and stable inflation
- Buy/sell government securities
- Lend/borrow against underlying assets as collateral
- Accept fixed-term deposits
- Foreign exchange swaps
- Promote financial stability
- Supervise operations of banks, finance companies, and non-bank financial institutions performing quasi-banking functions in the Philippines and exercise such regulatory powers
- Oversight of payments and settlements systems
- Promote inclusive finance
- Undertakes loan and credit operations
- Manage international reserves
- Manage external debt, foreign investments, and other foreign exchange transactions
- International economic cooperation
- Educate the public about economy and finance

1. Go to BSP’s website and look for the recruitment page. Once in the page, browse until you find the list of available (accountant) jobs.
2. If you are interested to apply for a job found in the list, scan the QR code below or visit this link and fill-out BSP’s Online Recruitment Form.
3. After filling-out the form, click the “Submit” button.
General requirements and instructions
1. Applicants must be Filipino citizens and must meet the minimum requirements of the vacant position(s).
2. Applicants should indicate/specify the position key, title of the position applied for, and the name of the department/office where the vacancy is.
3. All items should be answered properly and completely, e.g., “inclusive dates (mm/dd/year – mm/dd/year)”, etc.
4. Likewise, applicants should have a soft copy of CSC Personal Data Sheet and Work Experience Sheet at hand to be uploaded to the system for the application to proceed.
5. Applications will be accepted on or before the deadline which is ten (10) calendar days from publication date; applications received beyond the last day of publication will not be acted upon.
Applications will be considered valid for a period of one (1) year. Due to the large volume of applications BSP receive, only applicants who were shortlisted will be contacted.
