LOOK: PBBM orders grant of one-time P5,000.00 Gratuity Pay to JOs/COSs in the Government
Good news to all job order and contract of service workers in the government!
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has signed Administrative Order No. 3, s. 2022, authorizing the grant of gratuity pay for contract of service (COS) and job order (JO) government workers as a well-deserved recognition of their hard work.
Under the said order, all workers in government whose services are engaged through COS and JO, who have rendered a total or an aggregate of at least (4) four months of actual satisfactory performance of service, as stipulated in their respective contracts, as of Dec. 15, 2022, and whose contracts are still effective as of the same date, may be granted a one-time gratuity pay not exceeding P5,000.
On the other hand, those who have rendered less than four months of actual satisfactory performance of service, may also be granted a one-time gratuity pay on a pro-rata basis.
The AO covers workers whose services are directly engaged through COS and JO by national government agencies (NGAs), state universities and colleges (SUCs), government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) and local water districts. Meanwhile, local government unit (LGUs) are enjoined to grant gratuity pay to their respective JO and COS.
Moreover, JO and COS workers are likewise eligible to receive the one-time rice assistance authorized by the President through Administrative Order No. 2, s. 2022.
