Daily Travel Expenses (Per Diem) Before and After Date of Event

Question

Ano po practice nyo in giving per diem sa mga employees na may seminars/trainings, do you allow per diem before and after the event?

Like for example, October 2 to 3 and seminar to Cebu, do you allow them to travel October 1 and give per diem and October 4 and another per diem?

Depende sa nakalagay sa office order. If indicated sa order na kasama na sa travel time (TO) yung 2 & 3, di na po pwede. Pero if indicated naman sa TO na travel time yung day before [and] after, allowable naman po.

On a case to case basis, we do allow day before and after. Pero 50% na lang po yung day after. Pero if di naman po kalayuan yung pupuntahan then no need po yung one day before and after 🙂

Sa amin, if need mo mag travel to another island/region, you may claim 1 day before & half day after. Depending kung gaano kalayo at gaano kalaki yung possible expense pwede maging 1 day after pero case to case basis na.
