Marcos to grant SRI to gov’t workers
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is poised to grant a one-time Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to government workers, according to Malacañang on Friday.
During a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro indicated that Marcos is expected to sign a document to formalize the release of the incentive.
When asked whether state workers can already expect the SRI and when it will be distributed, Castro replied, “Hintayin po natin” (Let’s wait).
Castro also assured government personnel that the Palace will share the good news once the document is issued.
In December 2024, Marcos issued Administrative Order (AO) 27, authorizing the grant of the SRI to eligible government personnel for fiscal year 2024, including teachers and military and uniformed personnel, who each received PHP 20,000.

Kasama ba ang LGU?
Ang mga LGUs ay maaari din magbigay ng SRI, subject to the rules set in the implementing guidelines. But to be clear, there is no Administrative Order or Budget Circular yet for the grant of SRI for FY 2025.
