Authorizing the Grant of Gratuity Pay to Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order Workers in Government for FY 2024

(Administrative Order No. 28, s. 2024)

Who are eligible?

All workers whose services are engaged through COS and JO, who have rendered a total or an aggregate of at least four (4) months of actual satisfactory performance of service, as stipulated in their respective contracts, as of 15 December 2024, and whose contracts are still effective as of the same date. 

Amount of Gratuity Pay

All JO/COS workers who are compliant wirh the conditions may be given up to ₱7,000.00 of gratuity pay. 

Those who have rendered less than 4 months of service may be given gratuity pay on pro rata basis. 

When to Pay the Gratuity Pay?

The gratuity pay of JO/COS in government shall be paid not earlier than December 15, 2024. 

*Supplemental guidelines may be issued by the Department of Budget and Management for the implementation of AO 28, s. 2024, as may be necessary.
